Oh well , no winners many losers here!

What, SONY BMG,did by including XCP on it's audio cd's, has shown that multinational corporations can indulge in cyber terrorism with minimal penalties(don't forget the abuse of the new loosely worded annoyance laws can silence the aggrieved bloggers)!

As for the state law suits, any penalty, can be calculated only on the infected computers within the state bounds!Further, only if their respective State Attorney Generals, get off their collective backsides to enforce the appropriate State Regulations!

The simplest solution, from sony bmg, at no additional cost to themselves, is to approach each individual state governor where charges are pending and make an offer to supply various state and county libararies to supply X number of free new audio cd's, and then bill the recording artists all charges associated , using the contract subclauses!, thus further reducing the royalty payment bill, if and when it is paid(often very late according to eliot spitzer!)

So alas, in this case sony bmg by using cyber terrorism wins hands down, with all infected comupter users losing time, data and money disinfecting computers, and simultaneously the recording artist being bilked and short changed for Sony's crime!

Oh well, such is life, where corporate cyber terrorrism will become the norm, thanks to SONY BMG!
