Since "vista" is just a update...
To NT, much like xp is. This should have taken no time to fix. You
must remember that win 2k (their best OS) was NT 5 and xp is only
NT 5.1, windows "vista" is most likely NT 5.2. Others are right,
Microsoft should just scrap all the old code and start off with
a new OS. I believe Tic said it best, they should use virtual pc for
legacy support. Even if they charge for it (say $5 with each copy of
vista). But charging $200 for a point upgrade, is a bit silly.
