Hurray for more bogus links
Are you actually going to post a story without a bias? I stopped reading when I read "Nicholas Petreley, a Linux analyst". Gee, a linux analyst hyping up linux and talking down Windows, who would have thought? After seeing that part I know the rest of it isn't worth reading including the paragraph you quoted.

On Windows if there is a 0-day exploit you wait for Microsoft to patch it. Dispite your fantasy that all things on earth will shatter, that simply isn't the case. Very few if any computers will get infected. The point? Even tho it has a vulnerability, it won't be exploited until the patch is out in which case Windows is secured. I don't know where you guys get that FUD that it can't be, as I and others have demonstrated that it can be many times.
