To be perfectly clear
They are not "collecting" or monitoring your music. All that they
are doing is providing you with similar music recommendations
anytime you SELECT, not play, a song. If you remember, this
feature used to be just a row in the music store in the previous
version of iTunes. They are not collecting or monitoring your data.
Accuracy and truth should always be the first step before coming to
a decision about a certain matter, for your benefit anyways.
