Not too long ago.....
..... there was a bliss era that buying music (be it vinyl, cassette,
and/or CD) from a record store DID NOT involve any kind of
personal information about me been given to any corporate
entity.

As convenient as it is for me today to use digital media, it just
sucks big time how any or all corporations want to clamp and
corner a consumer like me with their obsessions of collecting
personal information from me, one way or another.

No matter how they justify their reasons to calm me down, it's
still 100% WRONG for them to do so, even if it's specified in the
EULAS (which are all legal fine-print designed to be sneaky by
lawyers).

Digital management of my own music (which I've legally bought
and/or ripped from my own CD's) should always be of my own
personal-use and convenience, NO MATTER WHAT!

It's unfair to me (from any which way I look at it) to have such
convenience traded-off with my information either given or
sneakingly taken from me by the large corporations.
