Real risk is the reporting to credit bureaus of non-loan information...
Why is you banking account info reported? Are you giving a ID thief more info to destroy your life. I thought banks had a FIDUCIARY relationship with you and this INCLUDES protecting your personal informatation. Now I hear they report things to credit bureas even if you have no loans or credit cards.

Should be limits of what gets reported from your financial transactions to the Big 3 Credit bureaus. I have errors on my report and DON'T get them fixed because I am less of an ID theft target. When businesses see the potential loss of business from the errors and id theft concerns, maybe they will start thinking about limiting the information they are releasing.
