MasterCard kicks off data security push

Real risk is the reporting to credit bureaus of non-loan information...: Why is you banking account info reported? Are you giving a ID thief more info to destroy your life. I thought banks had a FIDUCIARY relationship with you and this INCLUDES protecting your personal informatation. Now I hear they report things to credit bureas even if you have no loans or credit cards.

Should be limits of what gets reported from your financial transactions to the Big 3 Credit bureaus. I have errors on my report and DON'T get them fixed because I am less of an ID theft target.
