Option to not install/or uninstall parts of NSW
There is an option in NSW to not install ANY PORTION or SINGLE UTILITY of NSW. Use the "Custom Install" Option if installing, or the "CHANGE Option" if you wish to uninstall any of the utilities including NAV. I personally run Norton Corporate AV w/ the NSW Utilities. NSW in OBC (One Button Checkup does see an error for latest Virus Scan as the NC edition is separate from NSW....But who cares?) I happen to like having the better util's. of NSW like Disk Dr. & Win DR.....Both have saved my butt on my multi-boot system and most of my customers have NSW installed. You can run it a year w/ the free NAV updates then uninstall the NAV and install any other free AV like Avast or AVG if that is wanted. You can also set the Recycle Bin to open normally...I always remove ALL Exclusions anyway, so no hiding spot there, and those files are set to dump every 2 days anyway in mine. (Emergency delete recovery only...So short lifespan if anything were to hide out there). And I often dump Norton Protected files manually just out of habit.

Cg.
