Annoying 'feature' anyway
the norton protected recycle bin isn't any better than the standard windows one. there are two purposes for deleting a file: either you don't want it, or you need the space. NPRB simply moves the file so you can't see it, but it doesn't free up drive space. most 'undeleters' simply recover a file you've already deleted normally by removing the question mark from the beginning of the file. of course there are those that check sectors and stuff, but generally speaking, the consumer ones undelete stuff by getting rid of the question mark on the file. I once needed alot of drive space for a project, but deleting stuff wasn't getting me anywhere - then I found the norton recycle bin was keeping all my stuff on my drive. what's the point of them doing something windows already does? Personally, I think that they should just get rid of the 'feature' in it's current state altogether.
