He's raking it in if they pay 45%
If they don't skim he's probably raking it in. Even if they do, 10% fee probably makes it well worth his time.

It's a nuisance, but easy to fix. Not suprisingly the search engine people try to fix it:

MattCutts's (Google) solution of a security code on his blog (see the comment field at bottom):

Jeremy Zawodny's (Yahoo) done something different, if you fill in a comment from an IP flagged as a spammer, it blocks the comment:
http://jeremy.zawodny.com/blog/archives/006103.html

I just delete them and don't worry about it, but then I also block search engines from my blog so their's no PR to steal and this spam is just a minor pest to me.
