45% Affiliate fee
"Sergeant believes individuals and companies are abusing the system to increase their Google ranking, or increase the resale value of a domain name by raising its prominence."

More likely its the hefty affiliate fee paid by the online gambling sites. Ever since partypoker.com listed there's been a rash of gambling companies setting up online and they're all fighting for traffic:

'Poker' jobs:
http://jobserve.com/searchresults.aspx?jobType=*&d=7&page=1&q=poker&x=34&y=6&order=Rank&all=on&cbAllCountries=on&cb01=1&cb02=2&cb03=4&cb04=8&cb06=16&cb07=32&cb08=64&cb09=128&cb10=256&cb11=512&cb12=1024&cb13=2048&cb14=4096&cb15=8192&cb16=16384&cb17=32768&cb18=65536&cid=0

1 x Gibraltar
1 x Spain
1 x Malta

So 888.typo7.com redirects to (http://www.888.com/?sr=406676 ) a Gibralta company with affililate reference 406676, my guess is it's the same company as the jobserve client.

Click their 'affiliates link'

https://affiliates.888.com/Login/mainPage.aspx?trcode=TR00000228&Lang=en
They're offering a 45% revenue share.

Whenever someone offers easy money a spam market is born, whether its spam patents or poker web spam.
