If only their developers were as efficient as the PR wink
I know I'm being a little unfair, as code needs more work than a short press release, but...

It takes them days or weeks to confirm a security flaw even exists. It takes but hours for them to come up with spin that plays down the severity of the situation and lets them pretend that everything is OK. Meh sad

I accept that a DOS attack/crash is not as serious as a compromise of control and integrity. Even though it's less severe, I STILL DON'T WANT IT, and if a remote source can trigger it, that's a security issue by anyones definition. Well, anyone except for Microsoft's PR department >:(
