RE: What about all those other OSs
It's what we call the "Tall Poppy Syndrome" the act of critizing successful people because their just that, successful.

Why do hackers target Microsoft? It's the largest technology company in the world, backed by the worlds richest man and it's OS happens to be the most successful, widest spread, yet.

Their simply envious of its success, which breads hatred and leads to 'attacks' where it hurts most, through vulnerabilities in the OS.

I would guarantee if any other piece of software had the masses of developers trying to attack it that Microsoft has to deal with, they'd suffer they same problem to!!

Most of you no doubt work in IT, it takes time to address bugs, to re-create, to solve, to re-program, to test, to re-program, test, re-program, test, document, package and throw live as a 'fix'. 1 bug could take days, weeks, months for a developer to fix. Somethings just take time!
