sorry but that's not a valid statement
The fact is laws like this have been passed before and will be again. They get struck down by the Supreme Court. This was tried back in the Carter administration about phone calls and that was struck down. Don't you remember when the Clinton administration decided it didn't need search warrents to search people's homes in Chicago? When the moved in the Marshal's Service and the FBI to search all the apartments in this set of buildings. They were able to search and they did find drugs, stolen property, guns in the possession of felons and all sorts of stuff. Not one arrest stuck from that massive raid and the millions of taxpayer's dollars flushed down the toilet because all the searches were illegal and the seized contents were tossed out. Anything that wasn't overtly illegal (like narcotics) the government had to return to the people they confiscated it from. This has been a problem with our federal government since it's inception. So who you going to blame? Bush because of this law or Clinton because of his warrentless searches or Carter for his annoying phone call law or how about Kennedy when he gave the IRS agents the power to issue their own search warrents without requiring the person being searched be served with the warrent at all. All of the past indiscretions have been struck down by the courts. Though truthfully, the IRS warrent issue wasn't struck down until recently when the bench shifted toward the constitutionalists and the republicans changed the rules the IRS operate under (like you're no longer guilty until proven innocent and you can request and have council in an IRS court now as well).
