Ah, I misunderstood

Two issues you point two (none of which have affect me or any Mac user I know)

I didn't realize you were comfortable with the fact that OSX has tons of vulnerabilities (13 issues patched last month, 10 the month before, etc.) that may or may not have been exploited in the past (you have no idea) and may or may not be exploited tomorrow (again, you have no idea).

versus 10,000 that, while not affecting you

Ridiculous, where do you get this figure? There are not 10,000 "issues". There may be 10,000 exploits, 9,900 of them trojans like FREE DANCING ELVES.exe, 40 of them variants of Sober (one fix and you are safe from them all), 40 of them variants of Sasser, (one fix and you are safe from them all), 20 of them variants of this WMF issue (one fix and you are safe from them all). So 1 dose of common sense, 1 firewall (free), and a handful of patches protects me from all 10,000 issues. Sorry, a few seconds of my time once a month is not worth giving up control of my hardware. How does Job's hand feel wrapped around your neck? I found it too uncomfortable.
