Let me make sure I've got this straight...

"A Microsoft representative advised businesses to wait for a week, as the software giant can't guarantee third-party updates will be effective."

...er, so does that mean that Microsoft CAN guarantee that its own updates will be effective?

I've been a user of Microsoft products for about 21 years. I don't recall a single instance in which Microsoft ever guaranteed anything about its products. I guess this must be something new they're trying.
