Whew
It's a good thing I ran across your post, because I was just ticking along in my happy little Linux world, the one where I have to reboot once every seven or eight months, thinking I was missing out on all the exploit fun just because I can't get of these Windows exploits to run right in user space.

Fortunately there are wise people like you to remind me that Linux probably has more flaws, even though you don't really have anything to back that up, it just seems true, doesn't it? And you wouldn't know the difference between an OS flaw and an application flaw, so they all count the same in your book. Look at those big numbers! Wooohoooo.

And counting flaws in different distros and lumping them all into one big number, that's George's favorite trick. Fun with numbers. No_Ax doesn't bother with numbers, his MO is stating unsupported opinion as common knowledge.

because Microsoft is very good at when they find a serious or critical flaw like this, they fix the problem.

ROFL! Yeah, they'll fix it alright. Sometime next week. That will start the next round of What Stops Working. Everyone's favorite game that runs auto-update in an enterprise environment.

Pay for the OS
Pay for anti-virus and spyware software
Pay for support
Pay a consultant to come in fix things when security patches come out.

See a trend there? But, hey, any excuse you want to use to keep kidding yourself is fine with me. You can claim Flying Spaghetti Monster told you to use Windows for all I care. My sites run along on their LAMP stack just dandy with minimal oversight by me, which gives me more time to bill people for fixing Microcrap. lol. Knock yourself out.
