Totally Irresponsible
I, for one think that this type of action is totally irresponsible in this day and age. This site, http://iwantprivacy.com/history/news/data_loss_places_90000_custome.html,

has a similar writeup with the true solution-Encrypt tapes! Why the government hasn't stepped in and made this a technology recommendation, if not law yet, is baffling to me.
