Treat those backup tapes like they were gold bars

Your job is on the line
I'm talking to all you systems administrators out there
This stuff is really not funny.
You know the tapes had to have ended up in the wrong hands or they would've never copped to it
I would never keep credit card information or ss numbers. Just destroy that data after it is used. There is a price to pay for convenience. A steep price.
