"It's not our problem"

My ISP has abuse and report spam departments to which I'm
suppose to send complaints. These complaints are supposed to
be dealt with. Well, so far I've received 8 copies of the same virus
and I've sent each and every one of them back to the abuse
department. Their response was "The email address of your
message was faked. The real address is xxxxx and you should
send an email to abuse@xxxx and report this violation. My
response to my ISP wasn't quite so restrained or polite.
The next message from the ISP was "We try hard to protect our
customers from spam and viruses etc. etc. etc." The next batch
of emails contained three more viruses. I'm changing ISPs. There
are two in this area, DSP and Cable. The DSP provider just can't
be made accountable so the monthly payments stop now. My
friends on Cable tell a different story and from where I am now,
there's nowhere to go but up.
