"Obscure" is an interesting choice of words
Google sounds a bit like Microsoft...of five years ago. Microsoft made the mistake of downplaying security issues. They called them "issues" instead of vulnerabilities. They downplayed thier significance. MSFT eventually learned to be more transparent. Now, when they talk about the security vulnerabilities in their products they call them what they are: security vulnerabilities. They don't downplay them as "obscure." Google is a young company with a lot of...how shall we say...confidence. Or, maybe another word for it is arrogance. They'll learn...
