You obviously confuse everyone as either being Republican or Democrat, or conservative or liberal and I am none of those.

If you read my posts and pay attention I slam both the Reps and the Dems. Moveon org. was a liberal democrat group last time I checked.

But to answer your question Echelon and Carnivore were both put in place under Clinton if I remember correctly and I think I do. but the fact is that from 94 on the Congress was controlled by the Republicans who never uttered a peep about either them or the executive order that you showed an example of which Clinton signed in 95.

So fault goes to who? Both parties IMO.

The sad thing is that after all that Clinton did; technology transfers to the Chinese, allowing the theft of secret nuclear secrets from Los Alamos, not killing Osama bin Laden when he had the chance after the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole and the embassies in Africa, etc. ad nauseum; that the only thing the Republicans got mad enough about to impeach him for was for lying about an extramarital bj in the oval office. Sad, sad, sad.

And Bush isn't any better. IMO he lied or at least cherry picked the intel to get us into war in Iraq getting over 2,000 U.S. soldiers killed and over 15,000 wounded when Iraq hadn't attacked us, had no WMD's, and was not supporting terrorists. And in the process he let Osama bin Laden escape when we had him wounded and cornered in the Tora Bora mountains in Afghanistan. The man that actually did attack us and killed over 3000 innocent U.S. citizens on 9/11.

There is plenty more to dislike about Bush too just as there was about Clinton. Such as authorizing warrantless wire taps to "protect" us from terrorists while ignoring for five years the fact that three million people a year are crossing our southern border, no one knowing who they are, where they are going, or what they are doing. And not all of them are people from Mexico looking for work. At least 85,000 of them that have been caught have been OTM's.

etc. ad nauseum. So a pox on both the Republicans and the Democrats. For the most part they are all brainless idiots destroying this country through incompetence, greed, and worse.
