I was referring to the Patriot Act in general terms.
What I meant was that the Patriot Act itself is unconstitutional and the justification of it is secret laws, reasoning and doctrines. You cannot override the constitution unless their is a provision in the constitution for it and it cannot remain secret. The provision needs 3/4 vote of the house and senete and has to be in a public forum. Since the gov't is requiring private enterprise to ID people, it is interfering with them to freely assemble. This violates the first amendment.

If the President is correct and levels with us and goes thru proper lawmaking procedures, I will support him with no problem. This didn't happen.
