that's the problem
is the complexity. linux and bsd don't have that level of complexity IN THE KERNEL. they don't have web browsers that can cause remote vulnerabilities because a malformed url caused a buffer overflow!
So sendmail is wonky.. use a different mailserver.. same with apache. You can't say open source is insecure and only cite the biggest problem areas and ignore that there are more secure alternatives.

When Windows get's it's IE, IM, MP and anythign else that doesn't need to be in the kernel stuff fixed... THEN you can start playing int he same ballgame.
