This story is about the loss of unearned revenue... as in money earned over the length of the contract.... still no garauntee that those companies aren't just trying to leverage a better deal. Microsoft will wheel and deal and user their billion dollar fud machine to make sure that most of these companies are back on the contracts and their ACTUAL revenue will probably never skip a beat.
