Careful what you wish for

You might just get it. Here's a challenge. If Linux is so bulletproof, make that challenge at the next Defcon. After they get done with laughing at you, they'll be into your box faster than a quarterback into a cheerleaders *******.

I AM NOT DEFENDING WINDOWS. I am taking exception to the moronic statements claiming *nix invulnerabilty. If *nix security is so good, why do corporations spend so much time and money keeping the hackers out? *nix is a bigger target than it gets credit for. Why hack joe Sixpack when you can break into Sony or Citi-Bank or E-Trade? Ask anyone running a data center or server farm how many intrussion attempts they block per month. Ask them how many security bullitens they get. The *nix fanatics who post here give me the impression of people who installed it, use the gui only and wouldn't know how to use the command line if their lives depended on it. A REAL *nix person with any real world experience wouldn't post a message as idiotic as "SO HACK US! WE DARE YOU!"
