He gave you a solution
Get rid of Winblows. When something has a history of not working properly, and it can't be fixed. If there is someone in the area committing crimes what do you do? Say better lock your doors and hide, or do you lock up the person? Most corps if they use it keep it off the web, or have a linux firewall, which my friend admins with over 4000 Winblows users. He almost never gets anything, and that's with constant attacks because they handle credit card transactions. And saying that hey it's my right to do what I want, well a right means something that doesn't cost or affect anyone else. It's not your "right" to drive 100 mph through a residential area, though some do. That's why we have jails. Because you could and will hurt someone else. Just like if you use Winblows online you could wreck someone else's system.
