Thanks Mockylock, you are dead square on with this one. I have been in the IT industry for 15 years now. I have been with this current company for going on 8 years and there has not been 1 instance of a virus making it onto our network. It's not so much the OS as it is what is at the front of the network to stop this kind of stuff, as well as the internal controls to protect against unwitting users. This shop is entirely MS. I'm so over the *nix'rs and their holy than thou attitudes. MS definitely has it's problems, but without MS we would still be stuck back in the 1980's scenarios with disparate OS's and not much of a way to make this practical for the vast majority of (non-technical) people. Give MS credit where credit is due. *nix has it's place for sure, bit if *nix is SOOO great then why aren't more people falling over themselves to use it? The answer is it's not easy to use and most people have better things to do.
