Yawn, indeed

*nix users are so original.

We're also much better protected than the average Windows
user, and that's a cold hard fact any way you want to slice it.

But to our ears your argument goes something like this:

Those of us who have chosen to live in safe secure houses on
the hill will be just as susceptible to break-ins, hurricanes,
tornadoes and crime when our property values drop and every
one else in the world moves in next door. So we should just sell
our safe homes and buy into a trailer park like everyone else.

You skip the entire idea that we currently do not have to put up
with the consequences of living in a crime ridden area, and won't
have to for years and years and years to come -- if ever. Also, IF
things ever start getting bad for us, WE WILL THINK OF MOVING
TO SOMEWHERE SAFER!

And there in lies the difference; *nix folks are actively choosing
to ensure there own internet security. Window's folk, patch,
install all kinds of 3rd party wears, complain, commiserate,
huddle together in their insecure darkness clinging to the idea
that surrogate daddy, Bill Gates is going to fix his OS one day.

Who is really naive here?
