Here's a thought.

If you're given a chance for world publicity if you can shoot an arrow at a target and hit it... would you rather shoot at a watermelon or a golf ball?

When creating viruses, it's all about becoming famous. I'm quite positive that a person putting their future on the line, wouldn't be doing it to prove that Microsoft has a hole in their programming (when it happens several times a year).

As the tides turn, you'll find that every operating system is vulerable and you're all arrogant tools. Why would anyone TRY to create a virus for open source when there are 1000 types of the garbage floating around, and after it WAS created, nobody would know about it. Plus, considering it's open source, wouldn't you think it would be a bit easier to find ways through coding with viruses?

A programmer going after linux would be like a carjacker ONLY going after 64 Coupe DeVilles.... Afterwards, people turn on the news to see that it's been happening, and they could care less because it doesn't affect them.


Good stuff...

Anything being said about microsoft is an automatic. "NAH NAH, I told you so" from the *nix peanut gallery and a raise in advertising due to hits.

Way to go...

You're different, just like everybody else.
