True, but the point is ....
.... if it can be crafted to use a Windows exe, seems like it would be easy enough to do the same with a Linux elf ... right? AIM is available in all formats. It's the AIM program, itself, that is the problem ... NOT the platform.

So Windows is not the problem here ... the user is being duped into opening a malicious filetype .. be it a Windows, Mac, OR a Linux based executable.

Same problem ... whether it's an EXE or an ELF.
