You can't run programs on Linux?

Funny, I've had no problems downloading files, setting the execution bit, and running them. I've had even fewer problems downloading .rpms and installing them. .rpms are even nicer than regular executables since you are prompted by your own trustworthy Linux system to enter your root password! Since the only Windows users who would fall prey to this type of attack are computer naive, and entering your root password in Linux to install .rpms is so common, and the user really, really wants to see what FREE_DANCING_ELVES.rpm is all about, I would say that Linux is extremely vulnerable to these types of attacks.
