The principle problem in this is that by the time these folks are getting on a plane a major screwup has already occured.

We would be better off with a National Identity system that would be strong enough to prevent illegals, terrorists, and spies form utilizing or domestic systems for transport.

A Bio-Credential such as a fingerprint, retinal scan, blood/DNA scan, would confirm your ID and dcreen embarking passengers. The key to all this is a technology, a database, and a secure Portal control system.

Until the TSA stops hiring Ghetto Moms and other disinterested minimum wage employee's to act as "screeners" and takes on well trained professional personnel. A significant detterrant is difficult. In the Golden Child the airport security scene is a reminder of one but many other plausible bypass scams are possible.
