No move to Linux yet
For all the talk about Firefox, IE still has the widest application. Firefox still gets installed on my system for testing. But anyways, all that is besides the point of this particular post. For all those who jump up and down to advocate Linux whenever there is a smell of a MS flaw, they should bear in mind that not every user can make the switch across to Linux.

I have particular software that will run only on Windows: QuarkXpress, Endnote and scanning software for a UMAX AstraNET iA101 (the latter does not run on a Mac). None of them will work to their full capability under CrossOver or WINE.

Acknowledge that people use what they are used to in the majority of cases and in others, such as mine, what makes them more productive. I can secure my computer properly and if I get into problems then that is my own fault because it would have been a result of something that I did.
