Of course they lost money and time. First they had to track the guy down then they had to pay court and legal fees to make sure he was put to justice. 16 months is not enough time in jail for this guy, people that use tech as an excuse to do as they please should be punished worse then those that do it out of necessity. What are the odds that a squatter is going to do this again, about as good as a nice Nigerian really will want your help to move money, joke. Spammers and rouge techi's need to be shown that what they do is not exceptible.
