More exploits out for Windows flaws

Let me ask a question

Including these last two, a total of four exploits have been released for the same two Windows flaws since Sunday

Is it worse to have 4 exploits for 1 vulnerability or to have only 1 exploit? If you are vulnerable, you are vulnerable. Now, if 1 patch (already available) protects you against 1, 4, or 1,000,000 exploits, does it really matter how many exploits are going to fail on your machine?

People like to throw around the "Windows has millions of exploits" when the truth is that Windows has a handful of vulnerabilities (most of them from default security settings that take seconds to fix) that have thousands of exploits, differing only in the subject line used to trick the user into running the malware. Yawn, wake me when I can get a home OS that has no vulnerabilities and I'll be impressed. Until then, I'm happy with both Windows and Linux, my NAT router, and a bit of common sense. It has kept me exploit free for years.
