Another pitiful analogy
I got a recall notice on a truck I'd owned for several years. I got a recall notice on a car that was almost 10 years old.

When a vehicle leaves the factory with a serious mechanical defect the recall can happen many years later.

So, if you insist, use car analogy's. They still work against you. Just like M$ bloatware.
