Since you are spamming the coard with your copy/paste routine...
...allow me to re-post my response to your sad simplistic "religious" tripe:

That was truly an embarassingly pathetic attempt at piety. Bit, you are a typical American: acting very obnoxious and uninformed while playing stupid, and ignoring so many things that are happening and then using your narrow leftover view to justify your take on the world. Yes, it is sad that we have to have things the way they are because people want to "ruin it". But hey, it's now common practice to lock your doors at night, but I don't think the whole world has been destroyed because of this reality. We've just learned to deal with it.
And, cheering on Microsoft the way you do, you have absolutely NO RIGHT to comment on open computing and computing for all, yada, yada. Microsoft has done more than anyone else to CLOSE off computing and make it so that poorer people will not be able to afford software. And you were also the guy whose response to the world wanting more say on internet matters to basically "piss off" if they didn't have enough cash on hand.

"Instead of dealing with the scum, the people instead turned on the developers that gave them the open communication blaming them for the acts committed by the scum."

By "developers" I'm assuming you mean Microsoft of course. Outside of your estranged bubble, Microsoft is perceived as a bad criminal organization. of course I wouldn't expect you to take the WHOLE story into account. You'd never allude to Microsoft paying SCO to try to publicly hurt linux's rep. No, it's all because "everyone's jealous". Riiiiight. People are "turning on the developers" because everyone now rightly perceives Microsoft as being a needless obstacle to the industry.

"Even large numbers of the people began to cheer the scum on and took delight in watching the exploits of these vermin."

Well, if you look at the reasons why these "scum" are being cheered on, maybe you'd understand. When you attack someone or something, there is no telling how the defender will respond. In this instance, they are just responding in a way that most people don't care for, and that is, outside a court of law. But I say, hey, if M$ gets to get away with breaking the law left and right, then they can't complain when they are attacked in similar fashion. Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away I belive we called it poetic justice.
