Does anyone write desktop apps in Java?
FYI: Here are a few companies:

Borland (Together, JBuilder, Builder C++, etc)

IBM (Visual Age, Eclipse, etc.)

Sun (SunOne, most of the setup apps in Solaris, etc.)

Oracle

Cisco

Motorola

etc., etc., etc.

Another dumb question, easy intelligent answer.
