This is a sad day
Sygate Personal Firewall was the best in terms of speed and controllability. Yes, the configurations are intimidating for novice, but once the user masters the options, he'll find it hard to replace SPF with any other firewalls out there.

All should go and download a copy if it's still available. I can certainly understand why Symantec want to shut it down - when put next to SPF, Norton Firewall seems like child's play.
