Agreed..
"First off, gimme a break. I think even just two to threee years is plenty just for writing a virus. Remember, no one is getting killed here, just inconvenienced. That should not warrant the same jail time you'd get for killing someone."

Agreed.. There are enough non-violent criminals in our prisons today.

"Secondly, don't get into such a tizzy just because your crappy software company is the one getting hit. You're such a hypocrit, you'd be cheering if this was a linux virus that was targeting Red Hat or something like that."

If anyone should be responsible. It should be Microsoft. This is just another occasion of how crappy software causes loss of production across the world. Microsoft knows it and still refuses to take out the vulnerable features in IE and Outlook.

VBS anyone? ActiveX?

I find it interesting that there are industries based off the vulnerabilities in the Windows OS.

Firewall anyone? Anti-virus?

Microsoft needs to learn what a "Permission Scheme" is..

"This whole thing with the Janet Jackson exposure thingy is just one more sad example of how Americans' sense of value and logic is just soooooo azz-backwards. The US government is committing war crimes and there is barely a peep, but Janet exposes a breast and it's like the moon crashed into the earth."

American's priorities are whacked. They are the "If it doesn't effect me then why should I care" crowd.
