Too bad a certain company was too interested in taking complete control of a platform-independent yet totally interoperable Internet for its own purposes, rather than give some thought and effort into making their one-operator OS play nice in a networked world, to the point of embedding browser SW into the OS so that it could not be removed, who "embraced" open standards, "extended" them with proprietary software so that they could "extinquish" the competition. We are merely reaping what Microsoft has sown. Security and trust is more than a kludge and some posters....
