- out of interest "Good people & good countries go bad" does that include US?

Would you entertain the concept that just even occaisionally thing get messed up and the US does bad things?
How about Phillipines when first made into US vassal state? (& many were killed).
Do you think that torture is justified?
Do you know how many times the US has invaded China, sending in the marines, and HE + incendiary bombing? Maybe if you don't you should find out.
It certainly seems like China is doing very well financially, and this is built on top of genuine capitalism in their society. I wouldn't be overly worried about the "evil" nature of the communist elite in the country. They are pretty much all regular humans with families. It also seems to me that China, like Russia is pretty much the most unlikely place to make a Communist state work in the first place.
