Yep, the US is the real evil in the world...drink a little more KoolAid...
Is it OK to actually consider that there's a "good" and "evil" in the world? How about considering that thinking adults can actually choose to believe that something is "good" and something else is "evil"? These rants about how the U.S. Government (or the U.S. in general) is so bad...that our people and our way of life should be considered in the context of how we're viewed in the world, is ludicrous. Some of us are actually smart enough, and have a moral compass that allows us, to judge the difference and make statements of fact...like "UBL is evil" and "God is good". It's not so hard, is it?

The tired argument about how we "trained Usama Bin Laden" and we "gave WMD to Saddam" is so much blabbering of idiots. We grew cotton that financed the British war machine before our independence. We financed Cuba with sugar plantation proceeds before Castro. We financed the Soviet Union while we were fighting WWII. SO WHAT?

Good people and good countries go bad. Bad people and bad countries get rehabilitated. Have ya noticed that although we might not have the warmest of relationships with Germany, Japan, or Italy, that they're no longer our enemies as they once were (during WWII)? Do you actually think that there is one ounce of value to the statement that we financed UBL before we decided to go after him with our military/intelligence community/diplomatic community?

Get real. We're in the fight of our lives here, it's about who YOU want to win and who YOU want to lose. If you'd prefer that the Chinese, or the Iranians, or the Syrians, or for that matter, the Germans or Japanese, please...leave. If, on the other hand, you can clear your thoughts for just one moment, long enough to realize that we are the best thing going out there...that there is actually a REASON that millions of the world's peoples want to come HERE rather than anywhere else...then consider that there may be methods that we use to ensure our oh-so-despicable world dominance (in your eyes) that might mirror what our enemies are doing. If it gets the job done, and if on the whole, we can be self-introspective enough to question those methods from time to time and be sure we don't mirror the human rights abuses that all of these other countries have participated in...then we are OK. I choose to have faith that our PEOPLE who are our government are working to protect us, our relatives, our co-workers, as they are their own, and that our cause is the most noble of the world community. I also choose to believe that I can argue a right to do those things that we need to do to protect our way of life. It's kinda like the choice you have to make when a gang member comes to your neighbor's house to rape his wife and children...does he use "their methods" and pull out the gun to kill this scumbag? Or does he bemoan the despicable use of the gun as unconscionable and let the violence begin? Does your neighbor worry about what YOU would think about his bully tactics (preemtive violence on a potential murderer/rapist before actual commission of the act)?

Just use your brain...it will set you free...
