I had not heard about that village.
That is terrible! I wonder why it didn't make the American news. Not that it matters much, as most Americans are uninterested in anything that matters. Most Americans think that India is in the middle east; not that they'd know that Nepal is next to India.

How about the glacial creep in Tibet? The glaciers are melting 20 times faster now than they were 100 years ago. What about a 400 square mile iceberg calving off of the polar ice cap? These are signs of a MAJOR problem!
