Time to overhaul the EULA
who enjoys reading it, lawyers, accounts?? It's long, its drawn out, and often contains the most damaging permissions buried in the mid section (like a punch to the consumer gut). And with the number of EULA's consumers have to struggle through (unless someone has found that one swiss army knife program that does most everything a PC could dream of doing), most people stop reading the EULA and continue forth to accomplish their end goals.

Maybe a program that allows users to establish exceptable EULA and program permissions, so when those things are presented to the computer, like a white or blacklist, the program either clears the installation because it is acceptable, or stop and denotes what it sees as differences for the end user to accept or not. Other that getting mfrs and developers to change their EULAs, consumers will have to make an informed decision to just say No to the applications they load/use.

And definitely pay attention to the secondary installs of adware and support programs, . . and for goodness sake, you don't have to load the ISP disk for most DSL/Cable internet services (they load a lot of bloat and spy . . services to enhance your experience and slow down your computer). I just copied the essential settings and let the Windows network wizard actually do the talking to the modem, not the crap software provided for no other purpose but to entrench itself on yet another unsuspecting system.
