Alas, Sony still doesn't get it...
This statement proves it:

"As the company develops new initiatives, it will continue to seek new ways to meet consumers' demands for flexibility in how they listen to music, while protecting intellectual-property rights."

They went way beyond letting the cat out of the bag with this fiasco. Now EVERYONE knows about this DRM nonsense, and now NO ONE will put up with it any more.

The best part of this whole mess is Sony single-handedly informed the non-computer/internet-savy purchasers of the world that this garbage exists, and their rights (whether they knew it or not) were being compromised with these CD's.
