Democracy is extinguished

Ludicrous.
Not thought out on a global scale. Will simply lead to an adhoc system and increased risk. Renewable ID is the only sensible solution. Biometrics is a potentially catastrophic risk to privacy and democracy. Of course there must be accountability but to who?
ID is essential and so is anonymity. Without both - free speech and thought is impossible and democracy is extinguished.
