boycott sony
I have always been a Sony fan and have lots of sony stuff including expensive Video/Audio equipment. But this type of activity is unacceptable. I am no longer considering any Sony products and will not buy any cd's or video's that are distributed by Sony. I recommend everyone else do the same. Sony management needs to learn quickly that this behavior towards their customers is totally unacceptable. Their management need to be removed from corp and any company they move to needs to be boycotted also. They lost me with this attitude that they can install hidden applications and wreck my multimedia pc and devices.

Sony has always advocated copy protection and i accepted this assuming they were approaching it rationally. I thought they were more considerate. Guess I learn they hardway so they need to also. Thus no more sony nor sony supported artists/movies for me.
