Sony halts production of 'rootkit' CDs

The need to be punish

halting the production of those illegal cds is not enough. They need to recall all the Cd from the store, refund all customers who had they computer illegally crippled by this crooked so call "copy protection", they also need to be fined a couple of billions, so other company will not try to fellow they illegal way. i sure hope the various pending law suit will put Sony BMG in the red and force them to close (as for First 4 internet, they are a company making profit by exclysivly doing illegall software and should be close). I will never buy any Sony product of any kind.

Sony use to be a good hardware maker. now it is just another low-life crook.

Is there is still a honest judge in USA? that will have the courage tell the MPAA/RIAA and other crooks that copy protection of any kidn is simply illegal because it label every customers as criminal. (last time a check, in most country you are innocent until proven guilty.)

Copy protection as never, it not, will never work. Sony should use the money invested is illegal copy protection to lower the price on CD/DVD they will get a much better results and will keep to corporate image (with is now pretty much like what you found in a toilet before you flush.
