Sony, you are so very lucky

if you did this around the time of your PS3 launch, you're launch would probably be hosed and a great machine would be stifled at the starting gate. As it stands, the limited memory people put into privacy and privileges violations, you'll probably still have a great launch (except for the few people who would have sworn off your products with this as the 'last' straw).

Good luck, maybe you'll learn an important lesson about yourself and your RIAA buddies, but more importantly about consumers and the news. If you don't, hopefully you learn an important lesson about the courts.
